        1.    Impersonating another IELTS taker and take their test for them
        2.    Having another person impersonate you and take the test for you
        3.    Cheating or copying the work of another IELTS taker
        4.    Using a mobile phone, electronic recorder, pager, dictionary, or spell-checker
        5.    Talking to or disturbing the other IELTS candidates once the test has started 
        6.    Eating or smoking in the exam room
        7.    Reproducing any part of the exam in any medium or format
        8.    Removing or taking any of the test materials
        9.    Failing to prove your identity before the exam

 IELTS Academic Writing Test

The IELTS Academic Writing Test has two writing tasks and takes around 60 minutes to complete. In Writing Task 1, you are asked to write a descriptive report of at least 150 words in 20 minutes. In Writing Task 2, you need to construct an essay (at least 240 words) in response to an argument or a problem in 40 minutes. This writing test measures your ability on how well you can organize various concepts and ideas and construct clear and comprehensive responses about a specific topic.
